This is a bizarre, yet strangely entertaining music video by Vampire Weekend. (I was terribly wrong when I said they would be one-hit-wonders. I'm sorry!)

2010 NCAA Football Predictions - Week 2
Week 2 is here! What a week of games! This will be a really fun Saturday. I'll be watching South Carolina beat Georgia, Miami losing to Ohio St., and Florida State barely beating Oklahoma.
- No. 21 Auburn over Mississippi State- Auburn is supposed to contend in the SEC this year, and this is the first conference game. So they should roll over Miss. St.
- No. 23 West Virginia over Marshall
- San Jose State loses to No. 11 Wisconsin- This isn't much of a contest. Wisconsin wins easily.
- No. 15 Georgia Tech over Kansas- There aren't many teams that can stop GT's running game. I mean, how do you only throw like 2 passes and still win a game?
- No. 22 Georgia loses to No. 24 South Carolina- Georgia is missing their top receiver and has a freshman quarterback that has never played a SEC game. And in a series with the winner only winning by a few points; what do you think is going to happen?
- South Florida loses No. 8 Florida- After a rough start, Florida gets it together to beat South Florida. But it won't be a blowout.
- Idaho loses to No. 6 Nebraska- How embarrassing will this game be for Idaho?
- James Madison loses to No. 13 Virginia Tech- They are probably pretty pissed about last week and poor James Madison will probably have that anger taken out on them.
- Iowa State loses to No. 9 Iowa- I think it will be closer than most think.
- No. 17 Florida State over No. 10 Oklahoma- This could go anyway. On paper, I think Oklahoma should win this, but I think Ponder and the rest of the Noles somehow get the W.
- Michigan loses to Notre Dame- The used-to-be-dynasties hash it out and the Irish end up on top.
- No. 12 Miami (FL) loses to No. 2 Ohio State- I hate Ohio St. but I just don't think Miami is polished enough to beat this Buckeyes team.
- UNLV loses to No. 20 Utah
- No. 18 Penn State loses to No. 1 Alabama- Even without last year's Heisman's winner, Bama will take advantage of the Nittany Lions inexperience.
- Tennessee Tech loses to No. 4 TCU
- No. 7 Oregon beats Tennessee- This is going to sad to watch. Oregon is flying high and Tennessee doesn't have a chance.
- No. 14 Arkansas destroys Louisiana-Monroe
- No. 19 LSU over Vanderbilt- LSU barely survived UNC last week, but this contest should be easier to handle.
- Virginia barely loses to No. 16 USC- I think USC would lose if the game was in Tennessee, but because Vandy is going so far into new territory, they barely lose.
- No. 25 Stanford edges UCLA

2010 NCAA Football Predictions
Preseason predictions are so much fun! Everyone is estimating and guessing who they think will have the endurance and passion to make it to the National Championship. Here are a couple stories I've enjoyed while basking in all the preseason fiestities:
- The 10th Annual Herbies - Kirk Herbstreit's predictions of this year's best players
- Conference Champion and BCS Champ Predictions from ESPN's best
- All the Bowl Predictions! - See if your team is predicted to go bowling (SCAR v. Penn State in the Outback Bowl!)
- ESPN Bloggers put out the BEST predictions I've seen so far!

Clemson should just go ahead and come up with their lame excuses for this year. |

Gamecock Highlights Over the Years
Feel free to turn your volume down to spare yourself having to listen to "Do the Heisman on That Ho."
Best Game-Winning Touchdown of 2008
Texas Tech's Michael Crabtree makes one of the best career catches and runs to the endzone ever leaving 0:01 left in the game. #8 Texas Tech beats #1 Texas.

Lakers vs. Celtics Showdown
Here's an interview I found featuring the Lakers leader Kobe Bryant. In this interview he answers questions of last summer, his desire to get traded from the Lakers, being compared to Michael Jordan, and his plans and mentality for the finals.

March Madness 2008 - My predictions
It's that time again! Is there anything more exciting in the world of sports than March Madness?
Here my bracket this year. Last year I ranked #2 out of the largest Facebook group (woop woop). It's a shame I didn't put money down last year, because I would've made a quite the sum. Last year, the top-seeded teams played the whole tournament like top-seeded teams. Hopefully this year will be like the last.
The upsets I'm calling in the first round are:
(9) Arkansas over (8) Indiana
(9) Kent State over (8) UNLV
(10) Davidson over (7) Gonzaga
(12) Western Kentucky over (5) Drake
(11) Baylor over (6) Purdue
The second round upsets are:
(5) Notre Dame over (4) Washington State
(7) West Virginia over (2) Duke
My Elite Eight are:
(4) Pitt.
(2) Texas
(1) UCLA
(3) Xavier
(1) UNC
(2) Tennessee
(1) Kansas
(2) Georgetown
The Final Four will be:
Texas, UNC, Kansas and UCLA
The finals will be an exciting match-up between Love and Hansbourgh with the UNC Tar Heels beating the UCLA Bruins in a very close 2nd half.

Go UNC

The Big Dance is on the brink of arrival. The headlights crest the hill. Dick is annoying as ever.
Arguably, this month is the most exciting month in sports because of the NCAA Basketball National Championship. And this year, like most years, since the Gamecocks are not going to make it to the tourney, I'm going to pull for my upstairs neighbors.
You'd think South Carolina and North Carolina would be heated rivals, but this is not so. We are not in the same conference (SCAR- SEC and UNC- ACC). We actually never play each other in anything. Occasionally, we play them in football, but they suck in football so it's never a big deal. Our rival is Clemson (and I hate them more than bin Laden) and UNC's rival is Duke.

We'll Miss You Brett
Brett Favre retired this week after 17 seasons of NFL football. I remember Favre as being one of the toughest quarterbacks ever. He was gutsy and loved the game like a young boy loves his Tonka trucks.
Favre holds some admirable records -- he's the only 3 time MVP, 160 career victories, 442 touchdown passes, and 61,655 yards passing. Not too shabby.
Favre says he still has gas in the tank, but he doesn't think it'd be fair on him, his family and teammates if he tried to push through for another season. It is sad to see such a good athlete and such a good guy leave the world of professional sports, but it is time. I think everyone saw it coming. We will miss the tenacity of Favre; there's not another quarterback like him.
