I had a hard time really seeing Christian Bale and Russell Crowe in a Western, but I did like it. The movie was slower than I anticipated, but it did have the trademark Western scenes I figured it'd have. I liked the storyline, even though it wasn't as deep as it could have been. The acting was superb and it looked really good. I'd give the movie a C+ or B-.
Oh Ben Foster, who plays Charlie, was the super creepy stranger in 30 Days of Night, Angel in X-Men: The Last Stand, Jake in Alpha Dog (which was horrible), and Jay on the new Birds of America movie that comes out this year.
