The Giants Coaching Staff.
An unstoppable Patriots offense was stagnant Sunday against a hungry Giants defense. When you think of great defenses this year, the Giants aren't the first ones in mind. Well, until this game.
The Giants defense played like the 2000 Baltimore Ravens or the 2006 Chicago Bears. They were relentless all game long. The D-Line was great against a normally great Pats O-Line. Poor Tom Brady was on his back most of the game. I say "poor Tom Brady," but I don't really feel bad for him. He got a taste of his own medicine in this Super Bowl. All season long Brady frustrated and destroyed every opponent he faced. He caused frustration and losses everywhere he went. Well Tom, now you know how you made everyone else in the league feel. Brady got frustrated early in the game and he never recovered. He never lost his will-to-win, but he did lose his cool. And it reflected in the way he played; his passes were off, he was slow in the pocket and his vision was shaky. Another important teammate seemed to lose his spark as well. Randy Moss had a couple of passes that could've really changed the outcome in this game, but he didn't seem as anxious to get physical and grab the ball. The two most important players on the defending Championship team were not in the game. The Giants defense are to blame, especially their coaching staff.
